Wedding ceremonies that feel like you.

Manuela, celebrant and founder of MissionLove

Welcome

It isn’t about some beautiful wedding speech. It’s about your story.

I’m Manuela, independent wedding celebrant and founder of MissionLove. Since 2015 I have accompanied more than 380 couples through one of the most personal moments of their lives – in Switzerland and at beautiful places abroad.

It’s about the small things only the two of you can laugh about. About the people who shaped you. About different languages, cultures and families. And about a ceremony where your guests forget at some point that they are listening to a “wedding speech” at all.

It may get emotional.

There should be laughter.

And above all, it has to feel like you.

Multilingual

One story. Several languages.

Maybe you come from different countries. Maybe your families live on opposite sides of the world. Or maybe you are marrying in Switzerland and want your international guests to feel part of the ceremony too.

This is not sentence-by-sentence translation. The languages are woven together so that a natural ceremony emerges – one that stays alive and carries as many guests as possible.

Because at a wedding, language should never be a border.

Signature

More than 380 stories. And none told twice.

No templates. No interchangeable speeches. And no “that’s just how it’s done at a wedding”.

For every ceremony I take the time to really get to know you. Your ceremony grows out of our conversations, your answers and all the small stories in between.

Emotional, but never cheesy.

Funny, but never forced.

Personal, but never uncomfortable.

After more than 380 weddings I bring a fair amount of experience. It has still never turned into routine – because you and your story are new to me.

About 30 to 45 minutes that exist exactly like this only once.

Getting to know people. Hearing their stories. Connecting languages and cultures. And letting all of it become a moment that exists exactly like this only once.

Perhaps the next one is yours.

From mid-September 2027

MissionLove goes international.

Since 2015 I have accompanied couples in the most different places. And from 2027 MissionLove becomes even more international.

From mid-September 2027 my focus will be on destination weddings and international ceremonies – both for Swiss couples marrying abroad and for international couples coming to Switzerland for their wedding.

In Valais, Western Switzerland, Grisons and Ticino I remain regularly bookable for ceremonies. In German-speaking Switzerland I will accompany only a selected number of weddings from then on – in certain venues, for example, or when I sense at our first meeting that it simply fits.

If you feel that MissionLove is exactly what you are looking for, you are welcome to enquire anyway, at any time.

Manuela struck exactly the right tone: emotional, but never overloaded; personal, but never kitschy; professional, and still very warm. You could feel at every moment that she had prepared intensively and had truly understood our story.

With a lot of heart, empathy and love for detail she got to know our story and created a ceremony that could not have been more personal or more moving. There was laughter, there were tears and there was real feeling – not only from us, but from our guests too.

Having Manuela officiate our elopement in Switzerland could not have gone better. She made our ceremony so personal you would have thought she had been in our lives for many years.

For our bilingual wedding in Ticino, Manuela conjured up the perfect ceremony. The ceremony and our love story were romantic, funny and heart-warming all at once.

We had the pleasure of working with Manu for our destination wedding in Switzerland. The way she told our love story was both captivating and sweet, making the ceremony feel personal and heartfelt.

Our wedding at the château in Autricourt was last weekend. With you our celebration was perfect! We would not have wanted anyone else! You thought of every detail – in the preparation, on the day and afterwards.

What we wanted from our ceremony was a celebration of love for us and our friends. Not too clichéd, and as natural and human as possible. And that is exactly what dear Manu delivered, perfectly.

Sabrina SimonielloGoogle · 9 months ago

Her ceremony was incredibly personalized – she took the time to learn our love story and our preferences, ensuring that we could hear our own unique story during the ceremony, rather than something generic.

From our very first meeting to the end of the ceremony you simply won us over and enchanted us with your charm and your charisma! It was such a beautiful and unforgettable highlight for us.

Manuela was the best officiant we could have asked for. She was very accommodating and incorporated Swiss traditions into the ceremony. She went above and beyond and made the day perfect.

Madeline ShriverGoogle · a year ago

Her warm, open and authentic manner shows in far more than just her ceremony script. “Your ceremony was perfect – emotional and funny at the same time!” That was one of the first things our guests said.

Daniela BriottiGoogle · 3 years ago

With her open and likeable manner she found exactly the right words for our ceremony and simply made our wedding magical.

About me

Hi, I’m Manuela.

Celebrant, language lover, traveller, storyteller – and on a mission for love with MissionLove since 2015.

What began back then as a search for a multilingual ceremony for my own wedding has since become a rather large part of my life.

More than 380 weddings later, I still love exactly this about it: meeting people. Hearing their stories. Connecting languages and cultures.
